There are myths and anecdotes about Zamorak appearing to the inhabitants of Dowdun Reach. Few truly believe them. Zamorak is not one for hiding his presence: he's more theatrical than that.

It may be hard to believe, but some have tried to summon Zamorak to Dowdun Reach. Call it the hubris of a demon summoner: a student feels they have mastered the art of summoning demons, so believes the next rung on the ladder is a god. Never mind that Zamorak has no ounce of demon in him.

Zamorak can be accused of many things, but he does have a sense of humour. These attempts have been greeted with a gift. He has been known to kick a bloodveld through the portal, or another creature he has to hand. It gives the demon summoner a little spot-test.
