Dragons' Run

So named because Xikotal would delight in dashing through the valley each morning with the sunrise, snapping at the vanishing shadows as he made a game of chasing away the night. Imbued with the magic of the air, Xikotal reveled in the feeling of the wind against his scales, and he loved the laughter of the children that would run along beneath him, joining him in his fictional battle against the night.

Now the walls of this valley feel lonely and oppressive; corralling and trapping you, so that the dead might stand a better chance of adding you to their ranks.

In time, it seems, the night won the fight.
