Emberwood

Emberwood was the perfect village, at least for a time. After years of monotheistic rule turning them against one another, the villagers sought strength in variety. They created churches to each of the four major gods - Saradomin, Zamorak, Guthix and Armadyl - and each had a voice at the table, whenever discussions were had.

Amalgamated walked side by side with those who had not been touched by the anima of Ashenfall. Whilst it would be naïve to claim there was no prejudice, it was much more frowned upon and the Amalgamated could find themselves rising to any height of society, with only a little more effort than their peers.

It was far from perfect, but it was trying to get there. It could have been a wonderful place to live.

Kuldra's cruelty put a stop to that, and Imaru's grief-filled rage corrupted it all into a nightmare of fear and pain.
