There were geniuses who joined the ranks of the Zamorakian wizards. People who pushed the very limits of the magical sciences to achieve fantastical heights. The nodestones were one such experiment.

Nodestones were short range teleporters, connected together through the Dreamingstone Network, and they made life much easier for the residents of the keep. Nowadays, walks that would have taken entire minutes, could take seconds, and the Black Knights rejoiced in their exceedingly heavy armour.

Of course, some side effects did occur, mostly in the waistline. As armour became harder and harder to put on each day, the leadership were forced to create rigorous training programs that forced knights to run around the walls of the keep.
